What we are building

More teaching.
Purposeful baseball.

A program built around player development, with professional coaches, purposeful practice, and the repetitions young ballplayers need to improve.

Our practices are held on the King Street fields at Brunswick School, where every team works from the same development plan. Progress carries from one age group to the next instead of restarting each spring. The fundamentals a nine-year-old learns here are the ones that hold up at the varsity level.

01 / THE CURRICULUM

One written development plan

Frank Ramppen of Bobby Valentine’s Sports Academy & Ramp3 Baseball built our hitting, fielding and pitching progressions. Every team runs the same system, so development is consistent and measurable from 9U through 12U.

02 / THE COACHING

Paid professionals only

Every coach is hired, paid and accountable for how his players progress. No parent coaches on the field or in the dugout.

03 / THE REPETITIONS

Repetitions, not lines

High coach-to-player ratios mean maximum touches, no standing around, and individual mechanical feedback at every session.

Coaching leadership

The people behind the progress.

A sample of the staff building and delivering the program.

Frank Ramppen

Curriculum Director · BVSA & Ramp3 Baseball

Author of the program’s hitting, fielding and pitching progressions, and the teaching standard every 108 coach delivers across all three age groups.

Connor Redahan

Development Oversight · Brunswick School Head Varsity Coach

Connor is the head varsity baseball coach at Brunswick School. At 108, he connects the fundamentals young players learn to the skills and habits expected at the varsity level.

His development oversight keeps situational reads, daily practice habits and foundational skills aligned as players move through the program.

Teams for 2027

The right work at the right age.

9U

Movement, throwing mechanics, and every player learning multiple positions.

11U

Refined fundamentals, situational baseball, and early position projection.

12U

Big-field readiness, leadership, and the Cooperstown week.

What a year looks like

Build in winter. Grow all season.

December 2026 – February 2027

Winter development

Indoor hitting, pitching and catching clinics at Bobby Valentine’s Sports Academy. Mechanics get built before the season starts, not between games.

March – June 2027

Spring season

Practices on Brunswick School fields with an indoor option when weather turns. We aim to play weekend doubleheaders in GHVBL during the season.

Summer 2027

Summer & Cooperstown

Play continues at a measured pace. The 12U team closes out its 50/70 career with a marquee week at Cooperstown.
